Decorative Ropework and Make a Fender

RSS
25 — 26 May 2013

Take part in a new series of traditional skills courses run at the Maritime Museum by the Boat Building Academy, Lyme Regis.

As part of this course you can make your own decorative fender to take home.

In two days you will learn basic splicing (three strand laid rope and braid on braid rope) and make decorative ropework items as time allows.

Come along for a fun weekend by the sea doing something practical, or seriously build your skills by joining a number of courses.

For more information and to book your place please contact Rebecca Joseph on 01297 445545 oroffice@boatbuildingacademy.com or visit www.boatbuildingacademy.com.
