Explore the Fal River’s best kept secrets by traditional Canadian canoe, spotting wildlife, investigating isolated creeks and learning about the areas rich history of smugglers and pirates! 


Return to basecamp for a hot brew sat around a warm campfire, before embarking on a foraging tour learning about wild herbs, flowers, spices, nuts and fungi the site has become so famous for! See those new ingredients come to life as the session ends with a selection of canapé tasters - some of which we are sure you will have never tasted before!

Notes: Please wear outdoor clothing and sensible footwear like sturdy walking boots or wellies. We have free complementary tea and coffee on site, and a few canapé tasters but please feel free to bring your own drinks and food. All equipment supplied for both canoeing and foraging sessions. No experience necessary. Please be aware this is a wild venue including possible muddy/slippery surfaces. Consider bringing a spare dry change of clothes in a rucksack, although not strictly necessary due to the short nature of the session.  The majority of the time will be spent outdoors so please dress appropriately. Toilets are available on site. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required for this activity.
