Up the Creek with the National Trust

May 26th, 6.00pm to 9.00pm

Price: £10 per person

A guided kayak adventure into the heart of the tranquil Roseland countryside.

The National Trust have teamed up with Roseland Paddle & Sail and a local RSPB expert to offer an evening paddle to explore the tranquil waters of the Percuil River, taking you to the very heart of the Roseland countryside.
Meeting at Percuil boatyard, you will be passed into the safe hands of Roseland Paddle & Sail who have both single and double kayaks, paddles and buoyancy aids plus all the necessary experience and enthusiasm to get you on the water for the start of your adventure.

We will then head up river to Polingey and Trethem Creeks, showing you sites of local historic interest as well as hopefully spotting wildlife and birdlife along the way with the help of a local RSPB expert. After approx. two hours as the light begins to fade, we will arrive back at the boatyard to round off the experience with a hot drink and a pasty.

Booking is essential as numbers are limited. Bookings can be taken from April 27th onwards.

Adults and children are welcome, no previous experience necessary, however, children must be accompanied by an adult and you must be reasonably physically fit. You are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear which will almost inevitably get slightly wet.
