From Ancient Paintings to Modern Glass


A full day walk from Budock to Falmouth with the Ramblers Carrick Group. Part of the Fal River Autumn Walking Festival.

The Walk 

A visit to Budock church starts a walk of incredible variety with wonderful views. Learn about the ancient town of Penryn and then take the river path to Flushing from where you will see many Falmouth landmarks. View the modern glass window in the church before taking the ferry to Falmouth.

Starts from

Budock church, Churchtown, Budock Water, TR11 5BZ


Finishes at 

Falmouth. Return to Budock church by no.35 bus.

What to bring

Binoculars (should be lots of birdlife), drink, packed lunch, money for ferry and bus, wet weather gear if appropriate.

Refreshments can also be bought in Penryn. Wear boots or stout shoes.
