Keith McIntyre

22 — 30 May 2009

'Fragility of Flight'

The 2009 Fal River Festival will be headlined with an exhibition ‘Fragility of Flight', by Keith McIntyre. This artist is well renowned for crossing over art mediums and disciplines, and the exhibition is a surreal anthromorphic tragi-comedyas birds and humankind merge to face survival in the wake of profound changes to the natural world. McIntyre is a reader in the Visual Arts Division and teacher on Fine Art programmes.

His interests lie in drawing, graphic fine art, media and theatre - he is a previous winner of the Scottish Open Drawing, and he has collaborated on many theatrical productions, including recently, ‘The Unconquered', currently enroute to New York as part of the Off Broadway Festival. We are thrilled to have this exhibition included in the festival.
