There is a stellar line up of international artists to celebrate midsummer in Mylor. Martin Harley Band....Cara Luft…..Tom Cary....Larry Carlton Quartet.... Good Lovelies….Martin Skews….The Grace Notes…And if you’re not familiar with them give ‘em a Google and see just how brilliant they all are.

Martin Harley Band – the internationally acclaimed dynamic rock trio led by Martin Harley, world- renowned for his phenomenal electric lap steel guitar prowess. Time Out London calls them “quite simply a great live act” and we have them here in Mylor. They’ll tear the Friday night roof off the tent.

Plus Canadian Folk Heroine Cara Luft, founding member of award-winning The Wailin’ Jennys

Plus local Cornish star Tom Cary

That’s a packed rip-roaring night to kick off the weekend……

Larry Carlton Quartet – The legendary Californian guitarist Larry Carlton, nineteen-time Grammy nominee, four-time Grammy winner and all-time guitar great.

He was a member of the Crusaders and has released over 30 albums and has performed on over 100 albums that have gone Gold or Platinum with Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Sammy Davis Jr., Herb Alpert, Quincy Jones, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and many, many more.

Good Lovelies – an unknown hit at last year’s Mylor Sessions they captivated everyone with their to-die-for vocals, sweet harmonies and sassy stage presence. “You would need a hard heart and a completely grumpy disposition not to be charmed by the Good Lovelies” – MUSIC NEWS.

Special Guest local rising star - Martin Skews.

Plus the Post-Show Party! Finish up with the fabulous Grace Notes when we can get up and get down, bop and boogie, or simply sit and savour.

It’ll take you back to those heady days of Motown, when Soul really did have soul. A fabulous way for us all to end a very special weekend.

Food: Special Fish & Chips (probably the best fish ‘n’ chips in the world….) and goodies from Café Mylor

Children: Children are welcome if looked after by responsible parents. (Tickets are discounted by 50%, but there is no discount available for Weekender tickets.)


Where is it?

Restronguet Barton – Post code TR11 5SP. It’s about ½ a mile from Mylor Bridge, about 5 miles from Falmouth. From the A39 head for Mylor and follow the signage.

What time can I get in?

Friday & Saturday Evenings: gates open at 6.30pm, access to the Big Top at 7.00pm. Show starts 7.30pm.

Saturday Afternoon Show: gates open from 12.30pm, with music from 1.00pm.

Will I have to leave the site between shows on Saturday?

If you have tickets for both the afternoon and evening shows, you will be able to stay on site, although we will ask you to leave the Big Top to allow for soundchecks. However, if you do not have a ticket for the evening show, you will be asked to leave the site when the afternoon show has finished.

What time does the event end?

Friday night: 10.30pm

Saturday afternoon: 4.30pm

Saturday night: 11.15pm. This is a later finish – remember we have a post-show party with the fabulous Grace Notes.

What do I need to bring with me?

We’re providing straw bales as seating, but you might want to bring your own cushions or seats, picnic blanket etc.

Is there food and drink?

Oh yes. Fish and Chips and Café Mylor’s famous chocolate brownies and other delights.

Bar with beers, wines and soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Can I bring a picnic?

We’d prefer that you buy your food on-site, since it plays a big part in funding events such as this and is important to our fundraising efforts.

Are there ‘vital amenities’?

Yes and a flat level portaloo for people with mobility difficulties.

Where can we park?

We have the use of the adjacent field. However, space is limited, so please think about whether you could walk, cycle, double-up with chums or use the local taxi services.

Can we bring our children?

Most definitely. In fact, you can buy tickets for children under 16 for half the adult price. (They must be accompanied by an adult.) It’s a great family event – but please remember, children, you are responsible for the good behaviour of your parents…..

This event specifically raises funds for a new project that we have created with Mylor School – the Mylor School Drumming Collective. Mylor Sessions will equip and teach children drumming and percussion over the next school year.
