Join David Pollard, as he reveals how two young Scots entrepreneurs formed a London based ship broking partnership in 1822, subsequently took over some Falmouth Packet routes and in 1840 set up the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company. 

Explore the pioneering development of Liner Routes to the Iberian Peninsula and the fulfilment of the founding partners’ dream to reach the Orient.
