Philleigh Way's very own Cornish chef George Pascoe teaches students how to make a proper Cornish Pasty (to granny's spears own recipe) and Cornish clotted cream.

Course Details

Welcome: Meet your tutor and see for yourself the Philleigh Way farmhouse cookery school and garden. Enjoy a morning tea or coffee.

The Day: The course kicks off with a proper pasty making demonstration that covers the history and culture of the Cornish pasty. Students then have a go at making their own pasty with hands on guidance from our tutors – especially during the all important crimping! Whilst the pasties are in the oven students will enjoy a demonstration of how to make Cornish clotted cream from raw milk. Students then sit down to enjoy a classic Cornish cream tea before heading home with their freshly baked pasties.
