Prides at Princess Pavilion

31 October 2015

Prides are a Synthpop trio from Glasgow. Princess Pavilion, Falmouth. Time: 7.30pm.

Following the success of their debut album, The Way Back Up, and huge sets at Glastonbury, T in the Park, Boardmasters and Reading & Leeds Festivals, PRIDES now announce a huger than huge UK tour across 22 cities starting this October through November including their first headline show in Cornwall at the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth on Saturday 31 October.

With over 4.2 million Spotify streams, over 2.6 million video views, two sold out UK tours and a charting debut album at 24 in the Official Charts and 5 in Scotland, PRIDES have had a remarkable year so far.

More concerned with hotwiring their songs into the listener's brain than with hipster cool, the Glasgow synthpop trio carry an undertow of emotional resonance with their instantly appealing future classics. They draw on classic artists such as The Cure, produce their music in the drummer's kitchen and are re-defining the traditional band with their two keyboards/one drummer line up.
