Professor Alan Male presents an evolutionary procession of life on earth

In the year of Darwin, Professor Alan Male presents an evolutionary procession of life on earth through his own illustration practice, research and authorship as part of University College Falmouth’s Professorial Lecture Series. It includes insights and evaluations of illustrative concepts communicating new and original knowledge from the world of natural science.  Professor Male has illustrated more than 30 complete books during his career and his most recent book, Illustration: A Theoretical and Contextual Perspective(AVA Academia, 2007), has been critically acclaimed, translated into 30 languages and is the acknowledged textbook for students of visual communication.
