Departing from Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier, enjoy a cruise to see the spectacular St Piran carving aboard the La Nebuleuse, a classic French sailing vessel, before it departs for its new home in Brittany.

The St Piran carving is the 100th commission to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of La Vallée des Saints in Carnoet, Brittany.

The carving will be making its way by sail power to France on the Friday the 11th May.

Special Cruise

We're offering you the chance to see the St Piran carving aboard the La Nebuleuse in Falmouth Harbour with a special blessing by Bishop Chris Goldsmith, Rev. Ken Bouller and others... There will be a blessing of the carving and the boat to wish them well on the voyage across the channel to France.

You'll also have the chance to meet the sculptors of the piece; Stephane Rouget and David A Paton. They'll be on hand to talk about the process of carving and St Piran.

The cruise will depart from Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier at 3pm and return at approx 5pm. A free pint of a limited edition St Piran Ale will be given out on board as well as a special gift from the project.

The cruise will be aboard the Duchess of Cornwall, a beautiful classic wooden ferry with top deck viewing areas. This sailing is subject to weather and circumstances. In the event of cancelletation, ticket holders will be notified by email prior to the event.
