The Enid

5 March 2011

Symphonic classical music meets Pink Floyd meets the undefined.

Symphonic classical music meets Pink Floyd meets the undefined, The Enid orbit the outer reaches of the music sphere and refuse to land. Formed in 1974 and powered by the compositional vision of Robert Godfrey, the band toured non-stop until 1988 and were referred to as the biggest cult band in Europe by Tommy Vance. After lying dormant for 17 years, Godfrey and the Enid are back with their 22nd studio album: Journey's End. Their current tour culminates in a televised concert at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
