Best friends Vera and Anna have a few things in common - being the 'wrong' side of 40, husband troubles and a love of Irish singing sensation Daniel O'Donnell to name but a few. During the trip to Donegal to see their idol in concert Vera and Anna come face to face with the realities of their lives - love less marriages, husbands in mid-life crisis and aaaagh the menopause! Never mind the prospect of being thrown on the sexual scrap heap!

Assisted by a handsome young waiter (it helps that he looks like Daniel O'Donnell), Vera and Anna confront their fears and begin to realise that life doesn't have to end when HRT begins. Feisty and funny, Women on the Verge of HRT was a huge hit with audiences and critics alike when it was last produced on tour and in the West End.

This hilarious, racy and sometimes painful look into the lives of two women on the verge was written by Marie Jones who also wrote the Olivier and Evening Standard Award winning comedy 'Stones in His Pockets'.

" .... the audience rocked with laughter" Independent on Sunday

"the play might be called Menopausal Women Behaving Badly...fresh, brave and funny...greeted with raucous guffaws of recognition by many women in the audience...honest, refreshingly outspoken entertainment..." Daily Telegraph
