Sing-a-long Beauty and the Beast at HFC

8 February 

Head to HFC for a screening of Disney’s brand new adaptation of the iconic fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, with on-screen lyrics so everyone can join in! 

This is your chance to sing your heart out to the Disney songs of your childhood such as Be our Guest, Belle, Gaston and not forgetting the classic Beauty and The Beast.

The exotic and jungle-like Glendurgan Gardens are re-opening their gates this February half term, and there’s a fun family trail to explore!

Experience amazing hands on Science shows at The National Maritime Museum Cornwall with the experts from University of Exeter + Bristol’s Explorer Dome.

Giving people of all ages a hands-on experience of science and a chance to meet researchers from the nearby Penryn Campus. As well as hearing short talks, visitors become scientists themselves by taking part in a range of activities and demonstrations.

Explorer Domes Shows

Explorer Dome’s show is a live, expert-led science show with entertaining demonstrations, audience interaction and volunteers will be required! Liquid nitrogen and Dry Ice go beyond water to explore solids, liquids and gases and the very stuff of matter. The epic journey of Earth’s water, the nature of atoms & molecules, particle theory, water’s explosive potential and its importance for life on Earth and beyond…

Children's Valentines Baking Course

13 February

Children enjoy nothing more than getting hands-on in the kitchen. During Philleigh Way Cookery School's fun Valentine's baking course, your child will bake their own delicious heart shaped cookies and create some handmade moulded chocolates.
