Meet up with raconteur and local guide David Hogg at 9:15am for an interesting and insightful tour of the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, returning to Trenython for 5pm. Advance booking essential.

Tuesday 24 December

Be serenaded by our festive Sea Shanty choir on arrival as we ‘warm’ you into Christmas Eve with mulled wine and delicious mince pies, served from 3:30pm until 5pm.

It’s on to ‘Carols and Canapés’ from 6pm in the Great Hall, as the Christmas mood gains momentum in this wonderful setting.

Relax and enjoy our festive dinner menu in TM’s restaurant, served from 7pm. Advance booking recommended.

11:30pm - Experience the real spirit of Christmas by attending Midnight Mass at Tywardreath Church. We’ll have a warming mug of hot chocolate awaiting you on your return.

Christmas Day

Enjoy a leisurely morning, unwrapping your gifts perhaps and working up an appetite for our Festive Christmas Day Lunch, served in the restaurant from 12.30pm (£65 per person, children £30). Advance booking essential.

Father Christmas will be visiting his grotto at Trenython from 11am until 1pm, bearing gifts.

Queen’s speech at 3pm in the Cinema Room.

Film showing: Monsters University at 5pm.

From 7pm – a traditional light supper of a meat and cheese board ‘to share’ with homemade breads and chutneys.

Boxing Day, 26 December

Christmas indulgence continues with a not to be missed afternoon cream tea served in the Du Maurier Lounge, accompanied by our Trenython Christmas cake.

Film showing: Toy Story 3 at 3pm.

Evening entertainment from 9pm in the Guest Lounge.
