Where to Stay of the Day: Falmouth Hotel
20 June 2016
It doesn't get more historic than the Falmouth Hotel. Falmouth's first ever hotel, it's set in 5 acres of gardens, overlooking castle beach and has welcomed guests including Edward VIII and Beatrix Potter.
With 71 bedrooms and stunning views, the hotel is close to Falmouth Town, Gyllyngvase Beach, Pendennis Castle, the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth Docks and Pendennis Point.
The hotel has an award winning restaurant, an indoor pool, spa bath, steam room and gymnasium and an Elemis Spa.
There is a choice of Standard rooms, Executive, Superior and Suites plus self-catering cottages too!
We simply love the beautiful original Victorian staircase that has been opened up to show the striking view to the top of the hotel.
We recommend getting up extra early and walking across the beach before breakfast!
