Falmouth’s Gin Festival at The Greenbank Hotel is back for its second year

11 February 2019

The Greenbank are excited to announce that they are hosting the annual Falmouth Gin Festival at the hotel on Saturday 13th July.

The event will be held throughout the whole hotel from midday until late, finishing in The Riverbank Suite overlooking Falmouth harbour. Attendees will enjoy a G&T on arrival, samples from local distilleries, and of course a keepsake branded gin glass. There are two different ticket options – silver is the day time session from 12pm until 6pm, and gold is for both sessions from 12pm until 11.30pm.

Sample award-winning products from the likes of Curio, Tarquin’s, Salcombe Gin, Rock Gin, Caspyn, Holly’s Gin, St Ives Gin and Sam’s Liqueurs, then kick back whilst listening to gin masterclasses. Lounge around sipping cocktails served in the Water’s Edge bar, share a tasting board of nibbles with your friends, then dance the night away to your favourite tunes in The Riverbank.

Festival-goers can expect a whole host of entertainment, including informal talks by our gin distilleries, photo booth stations, giant games, and performances from local singer songwriters Will Keating, Miranda Brooke, Jumping Out Jazz and our resident DJ.

Although the main focus will be on gin, there will also be a vast range of other spirits available including local rums, vodkas and craft liqueurs.

Greenbank cocktail barista, Yohann Thuillier, said: “As the popularity of gin continues to rise nationwide, we’re celebrating with our second dedicated gin festival. We’re so excited to have so many expert gin suppliers joining us from Cornwall and further afield. There will be a buzzing atmosphere with live music and plenty of gin tasters being poured!”

So to gin or not to gin? Silly question really. Gather your crew and celebrate The Greenbank’s
‘Falmouth Gin Festival’ this summer!

Day tickets (SILVER) cost £11.50 each and Day & Night tickets (GOLD) cost £16.50 each, which includes a £1.50 booking fee and can be purchased via this link
