The Ultimate Cornish Summer Holiday at The Rosevine

15 January 2014

Following on from a bumper 2013, The Rosevine, near Portscatho, has been included in the Sunday Times’ 100 ultimate holidays for 2014 list.

Showcasing the best holidays from around the world, the newspaper describes the Rosevine as a “dream hotel” and the Roseland Peninsula - where The Rosevine is located - as something “dreamt up by Enid Blyton”. The team at The Rosevine are thrilled with the inclusion.

“It’s a real honour for us to be in this prestigious list,” said co-owner Tim Brocklebank. “We’ve had a really successful five years here and are thrilled that our unique offering is getting national recognition.”

The Rosevine, known as ‘the big house by the sea’, expertly combines the luxury of staying in a hotel with the flexibility of self-catering accommodation - its restaurant, for example, specialises in simple yet elegant dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients but each ‘apartment’ also contains a kitchenette area so that guests can make up a snack if they prefer. The close proximity to Porthcurnick beach, with its breathtaking sea views and excellent walks along the South West coastal path, is very popular with guests and is described in the Times article as “almost private”.

The Rosevine team has a lot in store for summer 2014, starting with an early bird offer – 10% off a week’s stay in the school summer holiday if booked in January, subject to availability.
