It's Hammer Time at The Maritime Museum

30 March 2015

It's hammer time at the Maritime Museum in Falmouth over the Easter weekend from April 3-6, as kids will have the chance to cast their own Thor's hammers out of chocolate.

This is just one of the exciting activities taking place to coincide with the opening of the Museum's new Viking Voyagers exhibition.

Kids will go berserk for the magnificent make and take activities, where they can become a mighty warrior or fearsome dragon, sword and shield. And families can also follow the Voyaging Viking trail to unearth the items you'll need to become a Viking voyager.

And don't miss Going Viking with Fleet of Foot Theatre, on Saturday and Sunday where you can join enthusiastic story seekers Nelson Fleet and Henry Foot as they send their battered old filling cabinet into the past to discover all things Viking. Fleet of Foot Theatre features Jack Fowler and Jason Squibb, who was most recently seen as Reverend Odgers in the BBC's Poldark.

All of these activities, trails and storytelling sessions are free with your Museum ticket and best of all when you pay once to visit Britain's most family friendly museum you can return as many times as you like for a whole year.
