Check in, take the weight off and make yourself at home with a glass of Champagne. When you’re ready, join us in the restaurant for a cream tea with live music. In the evening, a five course black tie gala dinner and dancing until late awaits in our breathtaking Great Hall.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Dive into a hearty Cornish breakfast before spending the afternoon wine tasting, hosted by our in-house sommelier. Alternatively, make your way to The Oak and watch classic festive films with popcorn and refreshments.
Pull up a pew in our double AA rosette-worthy restaurant for canapés and a four course candlelit dinner. If you’re attending Midnight Mass in Truro, we’ll have a warm mug of hot chocolate, Cognac and delicious treats ready for your return.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Rise and shine – it’s Christmas Day! A relaxed bucks fizz breakfast is the order of the day. Open your presents at your leisure; you might just find something from Father Christmas. Take to the coast for a refreshing stroll or curl up with a book, before joining us for a Champagne and canapé reception. This will be followed by a traditional four course lunch in the restaurant.

In the evening graze on a festive buffet with all the seasonal trimmings, and play board games long into the night.

BOXING DAY

Following breakfast, prepare for a live falconry display on the front lawn where you can see and handle the majestic birds of prey. Afterwards warm up with hot soup, snacks and mulled wine.

Spend the afternoon in The Great Hall with Near-ta Theatre’s hilarious, festive feel-good show ‘Christmas.Time.’ Expect plenty of silliness, tons of festive cheer, and heart-warming fun. Some guests from our sister hotel The Greenbank will be joining us for this performance. Giggles guaranteed!

It’s the final night so meet us in the bar for canapés and Champagne, followed by five decadent courses in the restaurant. Afterwards, find a cosy corner in the bar for coffee and tasty treats to round off your Alverton Christmas.

Enjoy a laid-back breakfast before checking  out with our fondest farewells and best wishes for 2020.

Pricing for our four night break starts from £529 per person

T&Cs: Arrive 23rd December and depart 27th December 2019. Our five night break is also available. Christmas rates are per person per stay, based on two people sharing. Additional guests and sole occupancy rates are available on request. We require a £100 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due by November 1st 2019. Dogs are charged at £50 each and include a luxury dog basket, food and dog treats during your stay.
