We cordailly invite you to celebrate a whimsical evening of art and bubbles at the Waterside Gallery, St Mawes on Thursday 30th July. 

We are proud to welcome partnerships with artists Sophie Velzian and Hayden Price as we focus on their new, exclusive plein air paintings and the magical process behind them.

Sophie's initial pieces are richly hued and layered, somethimes with materials from the site iteself, and accompanied by written prose to capture the storty, and then filed into her sketchbooks.

Haydens work is an exploration of the Cornish landscape and it's changing seasons. "The challenge is to create an accurate depiction of the view by recording the atmosphere, light, colour and depth."
