Pirates AHOY! at Pendennis Castle
3 April - 21 April 2017
Set sail for tales of dastardly deeds and discover Pendennis' piratical past.
Join them for fun and games galore throughout the Easter holidays. You'd better behave or you might end up walking the plank!
Pendennis is a great day out come rain or shine for all the family - dog friendly too!
On a fine day climb the stone spiral staircase to the top of the castle to take in the breath-taking views over the town of Falmouth, nearby beaches and out to sea. Look out for sea-faring vessels and a huge range of wildlife, birds and coastal creatures.
On days when the weather isn't so friendly, visit the Discovery Centre and try out Morse code, plan a coastal attack and learn about the mechanics of loading weapons. The cosy Pendennis Castle Tearoom has a tempting selection of hot and cold treats and plenty of seating inside or out, and if you're feeling more adventurous, you can picnic on the grassy spaces around the castle.
