Wild Roseland Photographic Exhibition

29 April 2017

Roseland Festival 2017, St Mawes Memorial Hall, 10am – 4pm

Through the Eye of the Camera.

The very first photography exhibition sponsored by the Roseland Festival and organised by “Wild Roseland”, a recently formed local ecology group.

The theme of the exhibition is the natural beauty of this special place, the Roseland Peninsula, from its land and seascapes, rugged cliffs and tree tunnels to the serenity and tranquillity of its creeks and rivers.

Especially inspiring is the contribution of children from the Roseland Academy and its feeder schools who have been working with a local artist on a botany project, one aspect of which is “Close Encounters of the Natural Kind”.
