Follow Betty Stoggs and Beer Fleet procession to Events Square for the grand opening of 2017 Falmouth University Fal River Festival with free live music from Motown Pirates late into the night.
The party starts at 7pm with acoustic singer-songwriter October, followed by the funky, soulful sounds of The Motown Pirates who take to the stage at 8.30pm.
The Motown Pirates will get the party in full swing with their mix of 70s disco and 80s dance beats that are guaranteed to lift you to your feet.
This year’s Opening Night joins forces with the Falmouth Street Food and Craft Ales Festival and so as well as fantastic live music, you'll find the best of Cornwall's street food producers cooking up mouth watering dishes from around the world, and a whole host of pop-up bars serving thirst quenching Cornish craft ale!
