Executive Head Chef Dorian has been crafting some delicious festive dishes; think mouth-watering game, fish & seafood and delectable desserts... an epicurean delight!

Starting Monday 7th December, enjoy a 3 course Festive Lunch at The Idle Rocks.

Served 12noon -2.30pm daily, from 7th – 22nd December. Advance booking is required.

MENU

Starters

  • Chicken liver parfait with toasted brioche, clementine curd, dandelion, hazelnut, winter truffle
  • Cured sea trout  with watercress, beetroot ice cream, ice plant, caraway tart, Exmoor caviar
  • Truffled hens’ egg with Jerusalem artichoke, cordyceps, braised salsify, sorrel

Mains

  • Roasted Guineafowl with leek hearts, truffle & madeira boudin, winter roots, morel sauce
  • Butter Poached Brill with wild sea herbs, bacon, verjus, brown butter & mace sabayon
  • Wild Mushroom Arancini, curly kale, black garlic, parmesan velouté

Desserts

  • Spiced Apple  - Apple crumble, oat caramel, clotted cream ice cream
  • Chocolate & Cardamom  - Textures of orange, fresh mint ice cream
  • Selection of West Country Cheese with seasonal chutney and accompaniments

Tea, Coffee and a mince pie with brandy cream to finish
