Elizabeth Dale is a Cornish writer who has been researching and writing about local history for her blog and podcast, The Cornish Bird, since 2016. Born on a farm near Falmouth, she was the fourth generation of her family to grow up in the same house, and her roots in the area, and in Cornwall as a whole, run deep. She writes regularly for local and national publications and websites, has a weekly slot on Radio Cornwall and her passion for local history has also led to work on several TV shows about the region.
