If you are fan of the Great British Bake Off then you will be very familiar with Marc Elliot. The GBBO quarter finalist will be hosting a wonderful bread course at Philleigh.

Where you join him and tap into his vast knowledge of everything bread & baking, as well as any insights into the GBBO!

Marc was born and raised in Leicester and Marc decided to enter Bake Off to show his daughters that you can achieve anything you set your mind to it. He has seen sense and now lives in Padstow!

The day will be a jam packed dough journey with other skills thrown in for good measure, the first few dates for Marc’s courses will be covering enriched dough’s and everyone’s favourite pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts).

It will be like you are in the GBBO tent (but without the pressure!)

Duration: 10:00–15:00

Welcome: Meet your tutors and see for yourself the Philleigh Way farmhouse cookery school and garden. Enjoy a morning tea or coffee and tasty Philleigh Way treat.

The Day: The course includes four demonstrations and three practical sessions. All equipment, aprons, food and drink is provided including a glass of Prosecco mid-morning and wine with a delicious lunch.

Close: Have a chat with fellow course attendees and members of the Philleigh Way team. This is a guide to the days activities and may vary depending on the season as well as the group’s interest.
