Follow the parade of sail aboard our spectator boats and enjoy a half-day immersive sail!

All aboard for the spectacular parade of sail as part of Tall Ships Falmouth 2023.

Pull up a front row seat for the parade of sail aboard our spectator boats. Get as close to the action as possible and see the awe-inspiring ships as they set sail on their race.

The Parade of Sail will take place on Friday 18th August 2023 at approx 15:00*.

The day will start with the ships leaving Falmouth throughout the morning / afternoon and then meeting off Pendennis Point at 15:00* for the start of the parade of sail. The ships will then cruise along the shoreline as they gear up for their race start at 17:00*.

Spectator Boats

Our boats will leave Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier at 14:00* for the Parade of Sail start at 15:00.

Boarding will be between 13:30-14:00*. Boats will be unable to wait for late comers, please arrive in plenty of time.

Tickets

All tickets are £120, this includes a pasty and a drink. The cruise will last approx 4 hours*, but as the ships sometimes alter their routes depending on the weather conditions, it may be shorter or it may be longer. Please note, there is no child or concession rate for this cruise. 

Refreshments

Please select on your ticket option which type of pasty you would like. Any specific dietary requirements must be notified in advance well before the cruise.

All boats will have soft drinks for sale.

Cancellation

Please note, our Spectator Boats Tickets are non-refundable. Fal River Cornwall reserves the right to cancel/delay the sailing due to weather, tide or other circumstances beyond our control. In all cases, for safety reasons, the skipper’s decision is final. In this unlikely circumstance, we will endeavour to give 24hrs notice where possible and customers will either be offered an alternative date or full refund.

Car Parking

The nearest car park to Prince of Wales Pier is Falmouth Town Quarry (Cornwall Council), TR11 2BX. Normal charges apply. Please note, car parks will be very busy at Tall Ships and we recommend arriving in plenty of time to ensure you can park. Park and ride services will also be operating, please follow the road signs.

Toilets
There are toilet facilities on the boat. Please note, these toilets are not accessible toilets.

What to bring

Warm clothing - it can be cold out on the water at times, so it is advisable to bring an extra layer. In the event of sunshine, it is also advisable to bring a sun hat and plenty of sun cream.

Access

The boarding at Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth is via steps. These can be slippery when wet. Please take extra care when boarding. Boarding on to all boats will require access via steps. Please call ahead if you need any assistance.

Food & Drink

A pasty is included within your ticket price which you have on the trip. You will also get a complimentary drink. Further drinks may be purchased aboard. Dietary requirements need to be notified well in advance, please contact us on info@falriver.co.uk with your booking reference if you have any dietary requirements.
