Calling all barbecue fans - Hotel Meudon’s Feast Series will be returning this August but this time, with an Australian twist…
Welcoming Chief Pitmaster Adam Kesacoff aka The Aussie Smoker to beautiful Bream Cove, guests are invited to join a BBQ extravaganza of mouth-watering meats and deliciously charred veggies. Renowned for his melt-in-the-mouth meaty feasts, Adam will pair classic Australian flavours with tried and tested family recipes creating a bespoke barbeque experience worth celebrating. Specialising in smoking low and slow using a variety of homemade rubs and marinades, this culinary experience isn’t just for carnivores with an irresistible veggie option also on the menu.
The evening will start on the terrace at Hotel Meudon where diners can enjoy drinks overlooking the garden plus a delicious canape starter of lobster & crab filo tart prepared by Head Chef David Waters and the team. As 7pm nears, guests will make their way along the winding path to the beach passing through the lush green canopy of subtropical plants, flowers, and trees before reaching the water’s edge where they will hear the chatter of The Aussie Smoker and his team.
The tantalizing aroma of sizzling meats and smoky vegetables will be the cue to fill those plates and relax on the sand enjoying a main course feast of barbequed delights. As with the inaugural event, drinks will be available to purchase throughout the evening from the Bream Box, and dessert will be served at the water’s edge courtesy of Hotel Meudon. Before darkness falls, guests can retreat back through the gardens on foot or hitch a lift on the Mule for an optional night cap back at the hotel in the infamous Freddie’s Bar.
This unmissable pop-up event with The Aussie Smoker is the second of Hotel Meudon’s Feast Series - a collection of picturesque dining experiences celebrating the culinary expertise of brilliant local guest chefs.
