Visit the Museum!

With traffic-free roads, and an abundance of car parking spaces January is a great time to enjoy our award winning local attractions without the queues, and the crowd-dodging.

We love spending the day at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, learning all about the rich maritime heritage of the Fal River! With 15 galleries, over five floors the multi-award winning museum is packed full of fascinating interactive exhibits, there's so much to explore and discover!

Ice Skating at Eden


Until 17 February

If you didn't go for a spin around the Eden Project's glittering ice rink over the festive period, then don't worry - it's open until mid February.

Everyone is welcome, from complete novices to figure skating pros. If spectating is more your thing, you can snuggle up rink-side with a delicious hot chocolate or a tasty burger while you cheer on your family and friends.

But not everything Aunt Alberta tells her turns out to be true and Stella quickly discovers she’s in for the fight of her life against her very own awful Auntie!

Join the Parkrun Revolution

 

Never has running been so inclusive and enjoyable thanks to this new global phenomenon. Parkruns are free, weekly 5K timed runs that take place in parklands all over the country. 

Open to all ages and abilities, you can run, walk or jog your way around the route, it’s a fantastic way to get outdoors, get active and meet lots of new friends along the way.

The Trelissick Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am.
