Are the ferries easy to move around?

It varies - depending on the boat. Some of our ferries are 60 years old! So the layout of each boat varies. If you're unsure, please check before travel and give us a ring on 01326 741194 and our staff will be happy to help.

Do I need to walk to the ferry?

It varies - if the ferry is landing at Malpas due to low tide, you will need to walk up (going to Truro) or down (going to Trelissick/Falmouth) a hill to the ferry landing as our free shuttle bus can't get all the way down to the ferry landing. It is approximately 300m along a quiet road. Our staff will guide you between the two points. Passengers of reduced mobility should call ahead to check - 01326 741194.

What is a concession ticket?

A concession ticket is for people over the age of 65 or students showing a valid form of student ID.

I've bought a ticket online, what do I do now?

Great - just bring a print out of your voucher you will have received when you completed the transaction on screen and on email. You may also bring along a digital copy of the ticket on a smartphone. It is important the print out or on screen version is legibile for our staff to redeem your ticket, it is your responsibility to ensure that this is the case. Just bring either with you on your preferred day of travel and our staff will do the rest. No need to book.

Can I connect with other ferry services?

Yes - Enterprise Boats connect with the St Mawes Ferry and Trelissick Ferry. If you would like to visit St Mawes, you can connect with either of these services either at Trelissick or Falmouth. Which sailings go to/from Truro by ferry and not by bus?

Here is a guide of what sailings will be able to land directly in Truro. Please note, all of these sailings are predictions and can vary due to tide, weather and circumstances. Please check on the day of travel for the most up to date predictions - 01326 741194.

How long does the journey take?

It varies, typcially Falmouth to Trelissick takes approx 40 mins. Falmouth to Truro takes approx 90 minutes. The arrival times on the timetable should only act as a rough guide as tide can vary arrival times.

Does it get rough?

From time to time. Our ferries are very capable sea boats and are fully licensed by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) to operating in category 5 and category 6 waters. If the conditions are too rough e.g. gale force winds and a rough sea state, it is necessary to cancel sailings from time to time. All of our ferries are fully equipped with more than enough safety equipment onboard.
