FORM Art Festival returns to Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

Ninety talented artists and craftspeople will showcase the creative culture of Cornwall next month as the popular FORM Art Festival returns.

The beautiful Princess Pavilion in Falmouth will host the exhibitors including painters, ceramicists, printmakers, jewellers and woodworkers, who are all representing Cornwall’s long-standing artistic tradition.

The festival takes place from Friday, 15th May to Sunday 17th May inclusive.

Visitors to the free festival can meet and buy directly from hugely talented artists and craftspeople. More than 5,000 visitors attended the previous vibrant festival, with the event contributing £100,000 into the creative economy.

Each of the artists will be there for three-days, and visitors can browse and also soak up the sounds of live music, enjoy refreshments from the Princess Pavilion and pop-up food trucks. There will also be children's workshops.

FORM is sponsored by Heather & Lay, Falmouth Creates, Falmouth BID, Inspire Makers and Morgans alongside festival partners the Princess Pavilion, Source FM and The Poly, Falmouth.

FORM is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation, spearheaded by two local creatives - Vicki Glaister of Inspire Makers, which presents the work of over 60 Cornish contemporary design-led artists and craftspeople, and Ann Morgan of Morgans, an art and design gallery that is a well-respected part of Cornwall's contemporary art scene.

Vicki Glaister said: “We’re both incredibly proud of FORM and are really looking forward to welcoming previous well-respected exhibitors and new talent.  It’s free to enter, family and dog friendly, and all under cover to keep visitors and the artists sheltered from any rain. It’s not to be missed!”

The event takes place on Friday 15th - 2pm to 8pm; Saturday 16th - 10am to 5pm and Sunday 17th - 10am to 4pm.
