The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival has launched a brand new free app, giving festival-goers of all ages an interactive guide to the full three-day event and the chance to win a prize by exploring every corner of the festival.

The Falmouth Sea Shanty app, funded by Falmouth BID and developed by 3 Deep Media, is available to download now on the App Store and Google Play, ahead of the festival's return to Falmouth from 12–14 June 2026. Festival-goers who download the app now will also get an exclusive first look at the full 2026 festival schedule, available on the app before it is published anywhere else. With more than ninety groups performing across three days, the early access programme gives visitors the chance to plan their perfect sea shanty weekend ahead of the crowds.

Designed as an all-in-one festival companion, the app brings together everything families and visitors need to make the most of their weekend, including information on all performing groups, a real-time schedule, comprehensive travel information, and interactive stage maps to help navigate the festival across Falmouth's iconic waterfront venues.

In a nod to Falmouth's seafaring heritage, the app also features a built-in treasure map challenge designed to keep younger attendees entertained across the whole weekend. Children are invited to explore the full festival footprint, collecting treasure map pieces as they discover different venues and stages. Those who complete the map will be in with the chance of winning a prize, making the festival a real adventure for families.

The app is completely free to download and is available on both iOS and Android devices.
