Locals invited to take a spooky town trail
Children from Marlborough Primary and Falmouth Primary Academy took to the town centre this week to help judge Falmouth’s annual Halloween shop window competition.
Armed with clipboards and plenty of enthusiasm, the young judges toured local businesses to score the displays for effort, spookiness and creativity.
This year, shops have gone all out with frightful flair - with Reynolds Opticians, Maya’s, Georgia’s Voice, Posh Pants, Kitty Gubbins, Kindles, Jezebel, Grey Lurcher, Rieker, Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, Children’s Hospice South West, SoSweet, Flapjackery, South Paw Dog Store, Treaty Jewellery, The Cornish Store and Longstaffs among those getting into the Halloween spirit.
Locals are encouraged to join in the fun by taking a Halloween window trail around town and sharing their favourite display on Instagram, tagging @lovefalmouth and using the hashtag #lovefalmouth
