An invitation to celebrate with us for a whimsical evening of art and bubbles at the Waterside Gallery in St Mawes. We are proud to welcome partnerships with artists Sophie Velzian and Hayden Price as we focus on their new, exclusive plein air paintings and the magical process behind them.

Sophie's initial pieces are richly hued and layered, sometimes incorporating materials from the site itself, and accompanied by written prose to capture the story before being filed into her sketchbooks.

Hayden's work is an exploration of the Cornish landscape and its changing seasons: "The challenge is to create an accurate depiction of the view by recording the atmosphere, light, colour and depth."
