Join Alex Polizzi for a two-night Ramblers Retreat at Hotel Tresanton. 

On Tuesday, Alex will lead a circular walk to St Just in Roseland Church before hosting a group dinner that evening. 

The following morning, Alex will lead a full-day walk along the South West Coast Path to the Standard Inn in Portscatho, before returning to the hotel via the Place Ferry.

Tuesday 6 October
3 PM – Check-in

3.30 PM – Walk to St Just in Roseland Church (3.5 miles, approximately two hours)

7.30 PM Dinner with Alex Polizzi in The Mosaic Room

Wednesday 7 October
From 7.30 AM – Breakfast
10 AM – Depart Tresanton on foot to the Place Ferry (a five minute walk from the hotel), travelling across the water to Place House. From there, you will follow the headland to Portscatho, where you will enjoy lunch at the Standard Inn. 

After lunch, you will walk back to Place House via Porth Creek and onto North Hill Point, following the path along the Percuil River. From there you will catch the ferry back to St Mawes. The total walk takes four hours and is six miles, plus your lunch stop.

From 6.30 PM – Dinner at leisure

7.30-10.30 AM – Breakfast
11 AM – Fond farewell
