On Saturday 12th October, raise a glass (or three) to celebrate the best of Cornwall's brews at their very own Beer and Cornish Drinks Festival, hosted in the breath-taking Great Hall.

Beer isn't the only beverage that will be flowing, as their brews will be joined by other tempting tipples, including artisan spirits such as gin from Tarquin's and St Ives, plus Cornish fizz and rum.

With oodles of guest ales, local ciders, craft beers and other tipples on offer, it’s time to discover your new favourites. The Alverton’s drinks suppliers will be there all day until 7pm, where you can chat all things alcohol, try lots of free samples, and purchase your top picks. Head to The Library for live brewery talks and masterclasses to uncover the hidden secrets and expert knowledge from some of their popular suppliers.

Not forgetting an exciting line-up of local musicians including Mog Jones, Will Keating and Simon Willis, who will be filling The Great Hall with acoustic sounds, as well as bands including The Roosters, who’ll be getting the party vibe going later on into the night.

As well as plenty of free samples, drinks stalls and excellent music, your ticket will also include your choice of keepsake branded glass (choose between a pint glass or gin glass), as well as the first drink on us!
