The Cornish Wine Experience at Philleigh Way

3 October 2020

Philleigh Way & Cornish Wine Tours have come up with a clever plan to give people the opportunity to experience and taste a selection of Cornwall's award-winning wines all in one day!

Cornwall has an abundance of award-winning wine and is quickly gaining a reputation worldwide as being able to produce some of the finest still and sparkling varieties.

This day is jam packed with wine, food, education and culinary classes. We’ve thought of everything! Kate will begin the day collecting you anywhere between Padstow & Philleigh (so there’s no need to worry about driving) where you’ll arrive at Phileigh Way for a Wine and Food Extravaganza! The day will start with you learning the skills involved to make your own Cornish Italian lunch. Once the hard work is over, you will break for lunch accompanied with a glass of Cornish fizz of course!

This will lead nicely into the afternoon activity of Cornish Wine Tasting where you’ll get to try all the major Cornish Vineyards offerings, from Trevibban Mill to Polgoon. You will even have the opportunity to test your wits in a fun and light-hearted ‘wine trivia quiz’ throughout the day! It doesn’t stop there, on the way back we will pop into the fabulous Old Garage Wine shop, for 1 more tasting and a chance to pick up and goodies for home!

Then Kate will drive you safely back to your pick-up location for a well-earned rest.
