Drinks, canapés and art at Waterside Gallery, St Mawes

3 August 2023

Free summer open event

Thurday 3rd August  18:00 - 20:30

The wonderful Waterside Gallery are hosting their inaugural and informal free summer open event on Thursday evening, and welcoming art enthusiasts and the curious alike to an evening of drinks, canapés and art.

Located in the heart of the beautiful fishing village of St Mawes, this exciting gallery has magnificent views overlooking the harbour, St Mawes bay, St Anthony's lighthouse, the Carrick headlands and out to sea.

The Waterside Gallery is ever changing with contemporary paintings, jewellery, glassware, ceramics, pewter and woodwork from talented artists and designers from Cornwall and throughout the UK. The artwork ranges from small pieces to larger works by established and well-respected artists.

Gallery owner, Amanda, has been working in St Mawes for the last twenty years and has a genuine love of art and a keen interest in promoting artists and craftsman, and many of the artists take their inspiration from the sea, or are based in Cornwall.

Pop in to the gallery to view and appreciate local artists such as Suzanne Davies, Claudia Corbridge, Julie Evans and Julie Moss and indulge in a selection of tantalizing drinks and delectable canapés , thoughtfully prepared to complement the evening's artistic spectacle.

This Open Evening is free to attend, but please RSVP Amanda@watersidegallery.com, and expect an evening filled with visual wonders, artistic expression, and delightful flavours.
