Wild Swimming Break Itinerary & Requirements


Swimming experience - while no prior open water swimming is necessary, it is a real advantage. You should be able to swim 400m without stopping. This can be a mix of strokes though some should be front crawl.

Equipment - a swimming (not watersports) wetsuit is essential unless you have experience with non-wetsuit open water swimming. It is possible to rent suits, please discuss well in advance of your stay with our reservations team. You should also bring a bright swim hat, goggles/spare goggles, a dry robe or warm beach towels, sunglasses, sun cream, hot drinks flask (if possible). If you have a towe float, this is an advantage but these can be provided.
