24 July, 31 July, 7 August, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August & 4 September

Thursday Evenings are Sail & Seafood Night at The Idle Rocks!

Join The Idle Rocks every Thursday throughout the summer for an enchanting dining experience. Your evening begins with a scenic complimentary ferry ride from Falmouth aboard the St Mawes Ferry – the perfect prelude to a memorable night out.

Experience a carefully curated seafood tasting menu, expertly crafted by Head Chef Carla Jones. Savour exceptional dishes such as Scallop Ceviche alongside the day's finest Cornish Cod, caught fresh from local waters.

Looking for more flexibility? The À La Carte selection showcases Cornwall's premier ocean-to-plate offerings, featuring the freshest fish and seafood sourced daily by the Idle Rocks' dedicated fisherman, Gareth Austin. You'll spot his vessel, Jodie-Ann, moored right here in St Mawes Harbour.

However you choose to dine, your ferry passage is completely complimentary! Simply focus on enjoying yourself and embrace the whole dining experience.

Sail from Falmouth's Prince of Wales Pier on the Thursday night St Mawes Ferry and soak up spectacular views of the castles at St Mawes and Pendennis, bustling working docks, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of dolphins, seals, or basking sharks in the shimmering waters.

Thursday evening ferries return from St Mawes Quay at 8:45 pm and 9:45 pm, giving you plenty of time to savour every moment in the elegant harbourside restaurant before your tranquil return voyage as twilight falls.

When weather allows, extend your evening to the beautiful waterfront terrace. Dine beneath the open sky with gentle waves below and sunlight shimmering across the water's surface, transforming your special evening into something truly extraordinary.
