Makers Cornwall Christmas Fair 2025
7 November - 9 November
How To Turn A Sports Hall Into A Christmas Extravaganza
Get ready to kick off the festive season in true Cornish style. The Makers Cornwall Christmas Fair 2025 is back for its seventh year, showcasing the exceptional creativity and talent our county is so proud of.
From Friday 7 – Sunday 9 November 2025 at Falmouth and Exeter Universities’ spacious and welcoming Penryn Campus, with ample parking at the Sports Centre, Penryn Campus, Falmouth University, TR10 9FE.
With 75 carefully selected makers, designers and artists, the Fair promises a weekend full of festive shopping, inspiration, and community spirit. Whether you are returning to see your favourite creatives or discovering emerging talent for the first time, there is something unique for every visitor.
What’s New in 2025
Makers Cornwall is all about promoting and supporting the incredible talent that exists across Cornwall. This year we invited makers to submit ideas for this year's Poster and to have their work featured as the face of the Christmas fair 2025. We are excited to showcase the stunning work by Lee Foster-Wilson of Bonbi Forest.
Makers and Talent
This year’s lineup is more exciting than ever. We are proud to welcome back established stars like Alison Bick Designs, who continues to inspire with her stunning creations and dedication to the community. Our New Cornish Talent initiative brings fresh faces like Jack Button Ceramics and 3 other promising makers, each receiving partially subsidised stands to support the early stages of their creative journeys.
With over 200 applications, we have curated 75 exceptional creatives across a wide range of disciplines including ceramics, homewares, textiles, jewellery, art prints, eco beauty, and artisan gifts.
Fair Highlights
Friday Night Launch (6–9pm) – Enjoy cocktails, live music, and festive lights. Dress up, soak in the atmosphere, and get a head start on your Christmas shopping.
Weekend Shopping – Saturday 10–4 and Sunday 10–3. Relax with a coffee, explore the street food stands and excellent cafe, and browse our beautifully curated stalls.
Community Impact
We are proud to continue supporting Penryn and Falmouth Food Bank, with a collection point for donations and our popular charity tombola. Last year we raised over £1000 and food donations exceeded the amount raised in 2024. Our goal is to do that again in 2025.
We are also delighted to collaborate again with the Guild of Ten. One lucky exhibitor will receive a £200 prize and the chance to showcase their work in the Guild of Ten’s prestigious Truro gallery window. The winner will be selected on opening night.
Sustainability
Makers Cornwall continues to champion sustainable practices. We are reducing single-use plastics, encouraging eco-friendly packaging, and providing accessible recycling. Shopping small, local, and handmade supports both people and the planet.
