A feast of frightening fun awaits at Pendennis Castle this half term

Gather your little monsters for a ghoulishly good day-out, with wicked crafts and a spooktacular Halloween quest around the castle. Little horrors can also get up-close to a host of real life 'beasts'! Meet some amazing animals – including snakes, spiders and more – and learn all about these creepy crawly creatures

Silhouettes and Shadows at NMMC
19 October - 27 October

Incredible storytelling from Yskynna, spooky craft making and a Museum trail with prizes to be won this October half term.

The Girl and her Shadow – Yskynna
Monday 21 – Friday 25 October
Yskynna return to NMMC this October half term with intimate performances and story telling through aerial dance and a sensitive musical score. The Girl and her Shadow combines reflection, aspiration and adventure in a world where you can meet your shadow self to be greater than you once were.

Make and Takes
Saturday 19 – Sunday 27 October
Craft a mermaid,  shark or octopus and create your own shadow show for all to see. Make a lantern too for spooky stories at home.

Can you find all the hand shadows hidden throughout the Museum? Spot them all and claim your prize.

26th October

For the kids... 4-6pm, with fancy dress, pumpkin carving prizes , face paints, games and spooky story telling.
And for big kids.. DJ from 8pm till late, a prize for the best dressed and a free glass of halloween punch for everyone who comes in fancy dress.

Cryptid* Petting Zoo

Come face to face with some very unusual animals, including the extremely rare Mongolian Death Worm and the loveable Giant Beast. See these mythical monsters up close and learn more about them from our specially trained handlers, including the opportunity to ask questions and care for the animals.

Potion Making and Pumpkin Carving

Get hands-on and make marvellous potions using the finest botanicals and some extra special secret ingredients. Plus join a pumpkin carving master class.
