1 January
It’s the start of a new year and with a new year comes new beginnings and a celebratory start. We take a look at some of the best things to see, do, try and experience to kick off 2024 happily and healthily!
Dolphin spotting from the St Mawes Ferry
Ferry runs all year round
See if you can spot the spectacular sight of pods of dolphins on the Falmouth to St Mawes Ferry crossings, often a regular occurence throughout January. The excitement and wonderment at seeing these stunning aquatic mammals never diminishes and they seem to enjoy swimming alongside the ferry.
Our experienced Skippers are always careful and sensitive to the environment and wildlife around them. We can't guarantee a sighting every time, but the everchanging view from the ferry is pretty good for the soul at any time, so hop on board and enjoy the trip.
