Koru Kayak Adventures Incredible 2025 Season
28 November
Partner Spotlight: Koru Kayak Adventures
What a year it's been for our friends at Koru Kayak Adventures! This season brought perfect conditions along the Helford River and St Agnes coastline – sunny skies, calm waters, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
The highlight? An osprey that made the Helford its home for an entire month, thrilling paddlers throughout autumn. Grey seals also put on quite a show, appearing regularly in both locations throughout the season.
Koru expanded their offering this year with several exciting developments. They partnered with Helford River Cruises for combined experiences, perfect for celebrations and corporate events.
One memorable collaboration with DryRobe saw groups enjoying dual adventures on Frenchman's Creek before mooring at Calamasak Beach. They even launched "Wellness Kayak Networking" sessions with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce – proving that business discussions flow just as smoothly on the water!
Private trips became increasingly popular, accommodating groups of up to eight kayakers or six paddle boarders at £50 per person (£400 for a full group of eight). These exclusive experiences proved perfect for everything from intimate occasions to family gatherings.
The locations themselves continue to captivate. St Agnes, both a Marine Conservation Area and World Heritage Site, offers paddlers a floating tour through mining history, with oxidised copper gleaming green and iron ore glowing rusty orange along the cliffs.
Meanwhile, the Helford's ancient oak forests – now recognized as temperate rainforest – provide habitat for herons, egrets, kingfishers, and swans.
Koru Adventures are now bookable online for 2026. Gift vouchers are also available for anyone wanting to give the gift of adventure and make the perfect Christmas present!
