New Art Gallery in St Mawes, Tregony Contemporary, to Inaugurate with ‘Primary Colours’ Exhibition

  Primary Colours: 2nd - 30th March 2024

Tregony Contemporary are delighted to present Primary Colours, the first exhibition in our new gallery space in the heart of St Mawes, Cornwall.

Fundamental to human vision and the way we view the world, primary colours serve as the building blocks of artistic expression. Primary Colours explores the elemental energy of red, blue, and yellow and uncovers their profound impact on the creative process.

Exhibiting new work from established gallery artists Mark Dunford LG, Sarah Spackman ROI RBA , Kay Vinson, Peter Clossick PP LG,  Richard Fitton MAFA, John Brenton, David Moore, Virginia Bounds and James Bland NEAC as well as newly represented Mark Surridge each interpret these foundational hues with presence and in their own distinct ways.

About Tregony Contemporary

Founded in 2015 by gallery directors Brian and Judi Green, Tregony Contemporary (formerly Tregony Gallery) has grown from strength to strength as a platform to showcase exceptional local and international artists. After 9 years based in the ancient village of Tregony, the gateway to the Roseland Peninsula, Tregony Contemporary relocated to its current premises in Winter 2023.

Nestled in St Mawes, one of the most picturesque coastal towns in the Roseland and home to a vibrant arts community, the new gallery space enhances Brian and Judi’s unique artistic vision and celebrates the creative spirit of Cornwall.
