In line with government advice, we ask that you DO NOT TRAVEL if you have had any COVID-19 symptons within the last 7 days, share a household with someone who has had symptons in the last 14 days, or have been contacted by NHS Test & Trace and told to self isolate
Travelling on our passenger ferries
Including the St Mawes Ferry, Place Ferry & Enterprise Boats
Adhere to current government guidelines with regards to travel and the tier system
Plan your journey before you travel, check the timetables, live ferry status and buy your tickets on the website
Always wear a face covering unless you are exempt under the government guidelines. You should wear a face covering on the quays and departure points as well as onboard for the duration of the journey
Wash your hands before and after you travel on any public transport, hand sanitizer is available on the quays and on the ferry
Keep your social distance where possible - please sit appropriate distances away from fellow passengers where possible when on the boat. Keep your social distance on the quays whilst waiting for the boat
Step onto our boats without assistance - If you do need assistance, please ask a member of crew and we will do our best to help you safely
Pay by contactless methods, including the Fal Mussel card where possible. You can also buy your tickets online before you travel
Our ferries will have reduced capacities to help with social distancing
Follow our crew members instructions - our crew members may ask you to sit in a specific area of the boat, please follow their instuctions and remain seated for the duration of the journey
Use comfort facilties before travelling - Our onboard toilets are currently closed
Enhanced cleaning - Our crews are working hard to clean the main contact areas on ferries frequently.
Travelling on the King Harry Ferry
In your vehicle, on your bike or by foot
Plan your journey before you travel, check the timetables and the live ferry status
Stay in your vehicle at all times - Please do not leave your vehicle unless in an emergency
Pay by contactless methods, including the Fal Mussel Card Local where possible. You can also top up your Fal Mussel Card Local online before you travel
Pay through the glass - Contactless debit/credit cards and the Fal Mussel Card Local work through the glass on your car windows
The ferry may have a reduced capacity to help with social distancing, please bear with us, we will get you across the river as quickly and as safely as possible
Follow our crew members instructions - our crew members may direct you to a different part of the ferry for your own safety, please listen to and follow their instructions at all times
Use comfort facilties before travelling - Our onboard toilets are currently closed
Travelling by bicycle or on foot - Our crew members will tell you where to stand for the crossing, our top deck viewing area is closed. Please maintain your social distance at all times. We are unable to allow sightseers on board at this time for safety reasons.
