Rosé, seafood, and sun-soaked serenity, a St Mawes summer at it’s finest.
Throughout the Summer, every Saturday lunchtime, immerse yourself in a seafood lover’s paradise at The Idle Rocks, where the finest & freshest, local seafood takes centre stage.
To complement the ocean’s bounty, sip on a curated selection of iconic rosés from Château d’Esclans, each glass a taste of summer, each bottle an invitation to linger a little longer.
Expect a feast of Cornish seafood, from plump Porthilly Oysters, delicately briny and served ice-cold, to succulent St Mawes Lobster, grilled to perfection. Indulge in Turbot on the bone, rich and buttery, or dive into a lavish Fruits de Mer, brimming with the freshest shellfish.
Sourced from the pristine waters surrounding St Mawes, each dish is a tribute to Cornwall’s renowned seafood heritage - including catches from The Idle Rocks very own fisherman, Gareth, whose boat, Jodie-Ann, is moored just across the harbour.
As the resident DJ sets the mood with laid-back beats, let the rhythm of the waves and the flavours of the sea transport you, while a perfectly chilled glass of rosé in hand completes the moment.
Enjoy a season of sunshine dining:
Live Fish Counter: Choose your catch fresh from the sea, with Gareth Austin arriving by boat to deliver the day’s bounty.
Château d’Esclans Rosé Bar: Featuring Rock Angel, Château d’Esclans Rosé, and the luxurious Les Clans.
DJ Sessions: Laid-back beach beats from local DJs to carry the celebration into the early evening.
Coastal Ambience: Sea views, rosé flowing, and the scent of grilled lobster in the air.
It’s a true coastal terrace party and the perfect way to kick off a summer of unforgettable memories.
