Summer Cruise Programme 2023 Announced

11 May 2023

We're thrilled to announce our exciting cruise programme for 2023 with a line-up of unique events taking place this summer with tickets on sale now!

The Summer Evening Cruises run for two hours, and take place on board Moyana, the luxury wooden charter boat featuring a fully licensed bar, open deck and indoor lounge.

Kicking off the line-up will be the Secrets of Smuggling Cruise  on Thursday 8 June featuring local legend Will, from Falmouth Uncovered.  This cruise will look at all the secret smuggling stories from days gone by around one of the UK's most prolific coastlines for smuggling.

The programme will see the return of popular past events, including the Gypsy Jazz Cruise on Friday 21 July in collaboration with local band, Swingology.  The lively trio will have guests bopping in the aisles, with a toe tapping mix of cool swing and gypsy jazz.

The Fizz & Chips Cruise is back on Bank Holiday Monday, 28 August with dinner being served to passengers on deck fresh from Falmouth favourites, Harbour Lights.  Enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival and set sail around Falmouth Harbour with a delicious fish and chip supper.

The programme also features an evening dedicated to cider, with two highly trained Cider Masters on board from The Stable, Falmouth. The Cider Tasting Cruise takes place on Friday 25 August and passengers will taste a wide selection of ciders whilst learning all about the cider-making process and different cider-making regions.

Nature lovers and history buffs will also have the chance to explore the Fal with local experts, bringing the rivers fascinating past to life whilst on the lookout for marine wildlife, on land and sea.

The Creekside Archaeology Cruise on Thursday 6 July explores the upper reaches and tucked away sites of the Fal and  Around the Estuary Mouth on Friday 4 August explores the historic ports and forts along the Penryn and Percuill Rivers and Pendennis and St Anthony headlands.

A Tale of Two Rias on Sunday 27 August explores the stunning Fal and Helford from submerged forests, cliff castles, forts, ports and mines and a Frenchman's Creek.

The Summer Evening Cruise programme allows a great collaboration with great local businesses whilst offering something completely unique.

Tickets are expected to sell out fast for many of the events in the Summer Evening Cruises programme this year, book early to avoid disappointment.
