July is a bustling month, offering a rich tapestry of experiences for music, art, theatre, and food aficionados. Whether you're drawn to live performances, art exhibitions, or culinary adventures, there's a wealth of options to explore. We take a look at the exciting array of events and experiences that July has in store.

Summer Sounds at the Princess Pavilion

   Garden Room: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th  7pm - 9pm

   Bandstand: 14th, 21st, 28th  2pm - 4pm

The Princess Pavilion is hosting a free Summer Sounds programme, featuring band and choir performances in both the Garden Room and the iconic bandstand. These community events, showcasing the Nankersey Male Choir, Pendennis Brass Band, the Stithans Ladies Choir, and more, promise a unique and uplifting experience.

The Lemonaires and a Birthday at Harbour House

  Friday 5th July and Saturday 6th July

There is plenty to celebrate at Harbour House this month! The Lemonaires will be singing of their homeland, fishing, farming and mining on Friday, July 5th. Then Saturday sees the popular local Cornish waterside pub turn one! Join the birthday celebrations with pints available for £1 between 5pm - 6pm and a DJ from 5pm - 9pm. Cheers to that!

Vintage Swing Cruise

Saturday 6th July

Experience a magical musical journey on a vintage swing cruise with Cornwall's premier vintage swing trio, Swingology. Enjoy irresistible rhythms, rich melodies, and picture-perfect river views on board Moyana. This is an evening for friends and family with a difference.

Live Music at St Michaels

  6th, 13th, 20th, 27th July

St Michaels is set in tranquil gardens overlooking Gyllyngvase Beach and is a short walk from Falmouth town centre - ideal surroundings for a chilled afternoon. Join the BBQ and Live Music Sessions every Saturday -  the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy fantastic music in Falmouth this summer. The Painted Path at Tregony Contemporary

  Exhibition 6th - 27th July

   Artist Spotlight Sunday, July 7th  11am - 2pm Plein Air, and 2pm - 4pm Artist Q&A

The Painted Path is an immersive and exciting exhibition of paintings by award-winning artists Emily Faludy and Lawrie Quigley. It results from a year spent working on the Cornish South West Path at sites from Fowey to Tintagel.

On Sunday, July 7th, enjoy the unique experience of watching the artists at work and ask any burning questions you may have. Witness the 'Paint Along' at the harbour in St Mawes and meet the artists painting plein air. There will also be a Q&A with the artists during the exhibition in the afternoon.

Summer BBQ at Hotel Tresanton

  14th, 21st and 28th July

In the summer, the Tresanton offer an abundant barbeque lunch on a Sunday, a real feast of salads, seafood, grilled meat and a selection of desserts. Great for a large family get-together. For those with a big celebration, the sea view Nook terrace is available for private Sunday BBQ lunches.

Old Time Sailors at the Falmouth Stable

  Wednesday July 17th

Prepare for a lively evening at The Stable with the Old Time Sailors. Led by Captain Nicholas Moffat, this 20-member strong group, armed with over 30 traditional instruments, promises a night of foot-stomping, singing, and dancing. Their fully unplugged performance ensures an interactive and dynamic experience, taking you back to the 19th century for a taste of traditional seafaring music!

A Midsummer Night's Dream at Trebah

  July 23rd

Enjoy exciting theatre in a beautiful setting at  Trebah Garden. Four young lovers, five amateur players and a warring fairy host descend on the same forest in one evening. What could possibly go wrong? Troubadour's take on Shakespeare's classic comedy will transport you from your local forest, field, hall or dell to a genuinely magical midsummer dream. As the lines between reality and illusion blur, no one but the mischievous Puck knows what is true and what is magic...

Beauty and the Beast at Trelissick

Fruit de Mer Fridays at the Royal Duchy
